A chain reaction motor vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 75 North on March 14 resulted in one seriously mangled Ford F-150 and front-end debris from an 18-wheeler littering the road but, thankfully, no serious injuries. At approximately 2:20 p.m. on Friday, a rollover accident near Farmington and 75 caused a serious back-up. As a result, this pickup found itself in a semi sandwich as a trailing 18-wheeler could not stop in time and crunched the Ford underneath a stopped semi directly in front. Amazingly, the driver of the F-150 was uninjured. Howe police and EMS and Van Alstyne EMS responded to the scene. The highway was closed due to this accident and traffic was re-routed to the service road.
