Howe’s Hough Selected as McKnight Scholar

Jessa Hough, a Howe High School graduating senior, has been selected as a McKnight Leader Scholar at Oklahoma State University. The daughter of Rodney and Jodi Hough, she will receive a four-year waiver of out-of-state tuition up to $60,000, scholarships in the amount of $10,000 over the first two years and opportunities to develop leadership skills through seminars and courses. Hough plans to study Mathematics at Oklahoma State University. OSU Alumni Ross and Billie McKnight of Throckmorton established the McKnight Leader Scholars Program in 2010. It rewards rural students based on leadership and extra-curricular activities, as well as academics.
