Grays Trail in Van Alstyne on Saturday was lined with flags welcoming area residents to the scouting complex for the Annual Car Show hosted by the Friends of Van Alstyne Scouting. The show, featuring a variety of cars from years gone by to more current models, is one of the primary fundraisers to cover the costs of the scouting complex benefiting Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Venture Crew. Music was in the air, nachos were being served, hot dogs sizzled on the grill and a good time was had by all.
The car show is one of the primary fundraisers to cover the cost of utilities and insurance for the Van Alstyne Scouting Complex, benefiting local Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Venture Crew. The scouts expressed their gratitude to everyone who came out and participated and thanked them for their support.
