The Antique and Classic Car Show on Saturday benefiting the Van Alstyne Library featured a variety of prized autos ranging from the 1930s, to the classics of the 1950s, stately Rolls Royces and late model Corvettes. Following a hearty breakfast for show participants at the Van Alstyne Community Center, the car show was officially opened when the Stars and Stripes flown over the U.S. Capitol and provided by Congressman Ralph Hall were raised by members of Van Alstyne American Legion Post 376 members.
