GAINESVILLE — Adam Berryman finished with 207 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries as Gainesville defeated Sanger, 35-21, in District 9-3A play on Friday night.

Mason Copeland threw touchdown passes Jonathan Mendez and Demetrius Franklin and ran for a score while Damarius Farr added a TD run for Gainesville (7-0, 2-0).

Derek Shelby ran for a touchdown and caught a TD pass while Tre’von Jackson had 144 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries for Sanger (4-3, 0-1).

District 10-3A

Celina 45, Frisco Lone Star 10

FRISCO — Nathan Elliott threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score as Celina clinched a playoff spot with a victory against Frisco Lone Star in district action at Memorial Stadium on Friday night.

DeShawn Davis ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and caught a TD pass, Connor Torbert and Will Smith chipped in rushing touchdowns and Riley Nebeker added a touchdown catch for Celina (8-0, 2-0).

Jason Shelley ran for 158 yards and a TD on 25 carries while Ramon Harris ran for 122 yards on 13 carries for Lone Star (5-3, 0-2).

District 5-2A (I)

Whitesboro 43, Bowie 7

BOWIE — Collin Kilcrease and Jake Dyer each scored two touchdowns as Whitesboro defeated Bowie in district action on Friday night.

Kilcrease finished with 161 yards on 16 carries, Cody Ford added 74 yards and a touchdown on three carries and Brice Chaney had 78 yards and a touchdown on three carries for Whitesboro (6-1, 3-0).

Bowie (3-5, 1-3) was the first team to score a touchdown against the Bearcats in four games.

Pilot Point 50, Paradise 2

PILOT POINT — DaCoven Bailey had 132 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches as Pilot Point clinched a playoff spot with a victory against Paradise in district action on Friday night.

Travis Garrett had two TD runs in addition to completing 10-of-11 passes for 179 yards, Tristan Jurecka ran 11 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns and Cody Beathard returned a fumble 65 yards for a score for Pilot Point (6-2, 4-0).

Paradise (1-6, 1-2) finished with 11 yards on 34 carries.

Callisburg 27, Ponder 13

CALLISBURG — Eli Hollandsworth had 112 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries as Callisburg defeated Ponder in district action on Friday night.

Jake Parker added 110 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries and Mason Langthorn finished with 70 yards on 14 carries for Callisburg (5-2, 1-2).

Trey Dunlap had 106 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries for Ponder (2-6, 0-4).

District 6-2A (I)

Sunnyvale 28, Van Alstyne 21

SUNNYVALE — Demetrius Gray caught an 85-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Cottingame in the fourth quarter as Sunnyvale edged Van Alstyne in district play on Friday night.

Alex Phillips ran for 219 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries while Donte Kehler added 145 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries for Van Alstyne (4-3, 2-1), which led 21-14 in the third quarter.

Abdul Khalaf ran for two touchdowns and Cottingame, who threw for 420 yards, added an 89-yard TD pass to Lawson Ayo, who finished with 165 yards on eight catches for Sunnyvale (6-2, 2-2).

District 7-2A (II)

S&S 58, Whitewright 6

SADLER — Willie Winborne ran for 158 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries as S&S defeated Whitewright in district action on Friday night.

Trenton Nolan had 100 yards and a TD on two carries, Wyatt Maher ran 11 times for 94 yards and a score and Devin Orr ran for a touchdown, Jarrell Orr caught a TD pass from Reed Collum and Matt Farrell returned a fumble recovery for a score for S&S (7-0, 2-0).

Jacob Pleasant scored the touchdown for Whitewright (0-7, 0-2).

District 7-A (I)

Collinsville 49, Trenton 0

TRENTON — John Lewis ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries and caught a TD pass as Collinsville defeated Trenton in district action on Friday night.

Tanner Petska finished with a pair of touchdown catches for 116 yards while Connor Daley completed five-of-seven throws for 171 yards for Collinsville (5-2, 2-0), which led 36-o at half-time.

Nik Sambrano threw for 93 yards and ran for 37 yards to lead Trenton (0-7, 0-1).

Valley View 43, Blue Ridge 22

VALLEY VIEW — Ty Agan threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns for Blue Ridge in a district loss to Valley View on Friday night.

Brevin Wiggins caught both TD passes and finished with five grabs for 181 yards while Dalton Eaves ran for a touchdown for Blue Ridge (1-6, 0-2).

District 8-A (I)

Wolfe City 27, Celeste 26

WOLFE CITY — Justin Wilkinson ran for a pair of touchdowns as Wolfe City rallied past Celeste in a battle of first-place teams on Friday night.

Brandon Fisk threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score for Wolfe City (5-3, 2-0), which took the lead on the only fourth-quarter touchdown.

Celeste (4-3, 1-1) scored 19 of its points in the third quarter.

Non-district

Honey Grove 42, Tyler All Saints 36

TYLER — Jeremy Patt had a hand in four touchdowns as Honey Grove held off Tyler All Saints in non-district action on Friday night.

Patt had a pair of touchdown runs, threw a TD pass and returned a punt 87 yards for a score. Brandon Spann ran for a touchdown and had the scoring catch while Bobbie Newman also scored on the ground for Honey Grove (2-5).

Tyler All Saints (1-6) scored four times in the final six minutes but saw its comeback attempt fall short.

Savoy 62, Lewisville Lakeland 12

SAVOY — Adam Musser ran for three touchdowns as Savoy defeated Lewisville Lakeland in non-district action on Friday night.

Alex Caldwell threw a pair of TD pass and ran for a score, Chase Lowery had a touchdown run and returned an interception 55 yards for a score and Colton Defir had a touchdown run for Savoy (3-3).
