The Howe fans filled the shady side of Bulldog Stadium last Saturday night as the fifth annual community pep rally was held, signaling the start of the football season and a new school year.
The youngsters were entertained with a bounce house and a few other treats while the adults got to fill up on free hot dogs and drinks before the introduction of the teams. Young Bulldog football players from the first grade on up, got the opportunity to run through the Bulldog tunnel to the cheers of the crowd. Howe’s varsity and junior varsity teams in volleyball and football, as well as all the cheerleaders and the Howe band were introduced, as well.
The Bulldogs kick off their season Friday night in Lindsay, and fans are looking forward to the Sept. 6 home opener against Chisum.
