On May 24, Howe’s outstanding all-around female athlete Morgan Bailey signed her Letter of Intent and will continue her basketball career at Friends University in Wichita, Kan.

Friends coach Rae Anne Boothe was on hand to handle the paperwork that will allow Bailey to pursue her dream of playing at the next level. Friends University is a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) school, and the Falcons are the current conference champions of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Coach Boothe was excited about landing Bailey and sees her as a great fit in the school’s backcourt plans.

“When we visited with her, we saw her athletic ability and her quickness, and on top of that she’s such an outstanding student. We are looking forward to working with her.” Boothe said.

The Falcons finished the 2012-13 season with a 23-9 record and won their conference with a 16-2 mark, winning their second consecutive KCAC conference crown.
