BELLS — Sydney Brummett had 14 kills and 11 digs as Whitewright defeated Bells, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19, in District 11-2A play to clinch the fourth and final playoff spot by virtue of a tie-breaker against Howe.
Anna Shope handed out 26 assists, Alyssa Benjamin had 17 digs and Shelby Poe added 13 kills and eight digs for Whitewright (15-20, 7-7), which will play District 12-2A champion Caddo Mills on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the second half of a bi-district doubleheader at Anna.
Hatty Shope handed out six assists, while Zada Swoopes put down six kills and joined Landry Rhoten with two blocks for Whitewright, which is making its first postseason appearance since resuming varsity volleyball in 2008 — and first overall since 1975.
Bree Joyce had six kills and seven digs, Carlee Shelby added five kills and 18 digs, Emily Fagan chipped in four kills, five assists and four digs, Callie Snyder finished with eight assists and seven digs and Macy Sanders collected 18 digs for Bells (24-11, 8-6), which had already clinched at least third place and will face Gunter to open the playoffs.
Callisburg def. Howe 3-0
HOWE — Riley Harvey had six kills and 12 digs for Howe but Callisburg defeated the Lady Bulldogs, 25-15, 25-14, 25-18, to finish off a perfect run in district play on Tuesday night.
Tiffany Lallier put down four kills, Aurian James finished with 12 assists and 11 digs, CC Counts collected seven digs and Tori Abner totaled six digs for Howe, which tied Whitewright for fourth place but missed the playoffs on a tie-breaker.
Callisburg (35-4, 14-0) will open the playoffs against either Van Alstyne or Farmersville next week.
Pottsboro def. S&S 3-0
SADLER — Destiny Daniel had 10 kills and three blocks as Pottsboro clinched second place with a 25-21, 25-17, 26-24 victory against S&S to close out district play on Tuesday night.
Tatum Marburger added nine kills and seven digs, Darby Wallace chipped in five kills and two blocks, Bailey Wilson finished with four kills, 16 assists and six digs, Lindsey Evans totaled nine assists and four digs, Ansleigh Oakley collected 19 digs and Kelli Frye had 14 digs for Pottsboro (21-11, 10-4), which will face Pilot Point in the bi-district round of the playoffs next week.

TOM BEAN — Kristen McCanlies had eight kills, 11 assists, two aces and seven digs as Whitesboro defeated Tom Bean, 26-24, 25-14, 25-18, to close out district play on Tuesday night.
Kristen Phelps added seven kills and eight digs, Kylie Lemons added two kills and seven digs, Casey Lang finished with six assists, three aces and five digs, Terilyn Bufkin collected 11 digs and Kerigan McCanlies totaled six digs for Whitesboro.
Gunter def. Van Alstyne 3-0
GUNTER — Mikayla Watson had 15 kills and 21 digs as Gunter defeated Van Alstyne, 25-11, 25-13, 25-23, in the district finale on Tuesday night.
Katey Campbell added 10 kills and four digs, Emily Bruner put down six kills, Regan Hestand chipped in four kills and 18 digs, Reilley Hicks finished with four kills, three assists and two digs, Lana Green totaled 14 assists and six digs and Mackenzie Mazerolle collected 11 digs for Gunter (23-8, 9-3), which tied Pilot Point for second place. After flipping a coin to determine playoff seeding, the Lady Tigers got second and will face Bells in the bi-district round. Pilot Point (19-13, 9-3) will face Pottsboro.
Van Alstyne is tied with Farmersville for fourth place and will need to decide the final playoff spot and who will face Callisburg in the bi-district round.
Forestburg def. Collinsville 3-0
COLLINSVILLE — Brooke Johnson had 13 kills, five blocks and 34 digs for Collinsville but Forestburg defeated the Lady Pirates to claim second place in the district finale on Tuesday night.
Collinsville (18-15, 10-4) finished third and will open the playoffs next week.
Cally Johnson added five kills and 25 digs, Callie Woolsey collected 13 digs, Morgan Irelan chipped in 11 assists and 18 digs, Holly Theall finished with eight assists and 22 digs for the Lady Pirates.
Melissa def. Prairiland 3-0
PATTONVILLE — Madison Rose had 12 kills and six digs as Melissa defeated Priairiland, 25-16, 25-17, 25-17, in a non-district match on Tuesday night.
Connar Newberry added eight kills and three blocks, Riley Duzenack chipped in six kills, 15 assists and three aces, Whitney Taylor totaled five kills and five blocks, Amber Melcher finished with 19 assists and eight digs and Ashley Melcher collected 12 digs for Melissa (27-4), which will face Dallas Madison in the first round of the playoffs next week.
